- Another 2 girls, whose both parents have committee suicide, are also getting help from this trust.
- Also, 2 girls have received help from the trust who are in financial difficulties because of the chronic illness of their father. One of them is a kidney transplant recipient and the other is undergoing treatment for cancer.
- Dr. Harshindar Kaur, President of the trust, said that a major chunk of the corpus of the trust is their own contribution.
- Dr. Gurpal Singh, Secretary of the trust, added that they are very thankful to the NRI philanthropists who have been magnanimously helping them regularly.
- Dr. Sukhmani Kaur, daughter of the couple, and Nanakjot Singh, their son, have been helping them since the formation of the trust.
- This time, their daughter donated a part of her first salary to the trust.
